From what we’ve seen, and experienced ourselves, successful entrepreneurs view entrepreneurship as a journey of self discovery. It’s a way of life, of going your own way, either by yourself or with others, and not conforming to narrow definitions of how you should live your life.
Entrepreneurship is a great adventure. It’s a vehicle for evolution that is fast paced, dynamic, challenging, and seldom boring! It is ultimately about discovering different sides of yourself. The best thing about entrepreneurship is overcoming your own limitations and being tested in every way imaginable.
In this series, we will explore the inner side of being an entrepreneur. It is our sincere belief that if you master the hard skills of entrepreneurship and couple them with the inner skills we describe here, your chances of success will be much greater. Even if you don’t accomplish the level of material success you dreamed of, true success is rapid personal growth. In ancient times, important careers in society were used as vehicles for inner growth: in feudal Japan, for example, the samurai meditated and followed bushido, the way of the warrior, which allowed them to use their work as a vehicle for evolution.
In today’s world, we know of no vehicle as fast and effective for personal growth as entrepreneurship.
