Mindfulness may be trending on Twitter today, but it’s been trending for thousands of years among those in the know. What is it and why are so many people talking about it? Mindfulness is simply being, but with a level of focus and involvement in life that we miss if we are not paying attention. Mindfulness is the twin practice of meditation: it means that you maintain a meditative approach to everything in life. It changes both seemingly mundane and exciting experiences by making us completely present and seeing that there is magic in every moment.
